Inauguration of State-of-the-Art Computer Lab at SSM’s Primary School

 

On November 27, 2024, Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Junior Basic School in Sagroli unveiled its cutting-edge computer lab, equipped with 50 computers, marking a leap forward in digital education. The lab was inaugurated by Mr. Upendra Deglurkar, Executive Member of the Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal, with the event presided over by Trustee Mr. Arvind Deshmukh.

Headmaster Mr. Bhagwan Girgaonkar reflected on the school's journey in computer education, which began in 2006, and how this new lab will empower students with modern skills. Mr. Deglurkar inspired students, urging them, "Technology is your greatest tool—use it to build your future and create your identity." Director Mr. Rohit Deshmukh called it a milestone in the school’s development, promising many more to come.

Mr. Arvind Deshmukh emphasized the need for skill-based education in line with the new National Education Policy, noting the lab’s role in preparing students for future opportunities. The program also acknowledged the generous contributions of Drishti HRC and Mr. Vishwanath Mahajan, in memory of Late Madhavrao Gundappa Mahajan. The event, attended by mentors, teachers, parents, and students, celebrated the start of an exciting new chapter in the school’s educational journey.

  A one-day workshop on aromatic plant cultivation and processing was held on December 11th, 2024, at the sub-center of the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Farm Science Center) in Atkali, Taluka Biloli, District Nanded, managed by the Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal. The event was presided over by Mr. Pramod Deshmukh, Chairman of the Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal, and featured key resource persons such as Dr. Dnyanesha from the Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP), Hyderabad, along with Mr. S. Ranjit Kumar, Mr. VVS Swami, Dr. Madhuri Rewanwar, and Professor Kapil Ingle.
